How to keep your LULU bouquet fresh for longer: general rules and tips for each flower — how to cut and how much water.
General rules
- 01
A clean vase. Wash it with detergent — bacteria from an old vase shorten the flowers’ life.

Secateurs, not household scissors. Sharp floral secateurs make a clean cut, while blunt scissors crush the stem so it drinks worse. Cut 2–3 cm at an angle.

Leaves out of the water. Anything under water rots and clouds it.
- 04
Fresh water daily or every other day. Recut the stems a little each time.
- 05
Cool and shaded. Away from radiators, direct sun, draughts and air conditioning; somewhere cooler at night.
- 06
No fruit nearby. Apples and bananas release ethylene, which makes flowers fade faster.
